چکیده
Objective: Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma (OSCC), which is the sixth most prevalent type of cancer across globe caused by cigarette smoking, smokeless tobacco use, excessive and extreme alcohol oral trauma, HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) infection as well genetic mutations. AIF-1(Allograft Inflammatory Factor) has been identified an inflammatory response modulator, its increased expression linked to carcinogenesis. Methods: In this study, 200 OSCC patients matched controls were compared investigate if there was any association between gene risk cavity in North Indian population. polymorphism rs2857595 detected using TaqMan probe assay. Results: The findings our study revealed that AA genotype Gene increases susceptibility Carcinoma. with more co-dominant model combination both mutant genotypes (AA+AG) significantly associated recessive model. GG AIF-1 (Allograft comes out a protective effect against (OSCC Carcinoma). To further understand role polymorphism, we various clinicopathological characteristics patients. And found have higher developing high-grade tumors nodal involvement. Conclusion: Thus, locus can be considered important point development accurate preventive approach prognostic indicator for cancer.

The receptor and the receptor axis CXCL12 / CXCR4 are the two pairs studied in the metastasis of breast cancer. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the occurrence of CXCR4 / CXCL12 genes polymorphism and the clinical and pathological characteristics of patients with metastatic breast cancer under chemotherapy. Material and methods: Genomic DNA was extracted f...
متن کاملCharacterization of KIF11 as a novel prognostic biomarker and therapeutic target for oral cancer
Oral cancer has a high mortality rate, and its incidence is increasing gradually worldwide. As the effectiveness of standard treatments is still limited, the development of new therapeutic strategies is eagerly awaited. Kinesin family member 11 (KIF11) is a motor protein required for establishing a bipolar spindle in cell division. The role of KIF11 in oral cancer is unclear. Therefore, the pre...
متن کاملMAP17 (PDZKIP1) as a novel prognostic biomarker for laryngeal cancer
Larynx cancer organ preservation treatments with chemo and radiotherapy have substantially improved laryngoesophageal dysfunction-free survival. However, both of them lead to a high incidence of acute and chronic toxicities and a significant number of patients relapse. To date, there is no evidence available to establish the group of patients that may benefit from preservation approaches and cl...
متن کاملMidkine: A Novel Prognostic Biomarker for Cancer
Since diagnosis at an early stage still remains a key issue for modern oncology and is crucial for successful cancer therapy, development of sensitive, specific, and non-invasive tumor markers, especially, in serum, is urgently needed. Midkine (MK), a plasma secreted protein, was initially identified in embryonal carcinoma cells at early stages of retinoic acid-induced differentiation. Multiple...
متن کاملMicroRNA dysregulation as a prognostic biomarker in colorectal cancer
Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most potentially curable cancers, yet it remains the fourth most common overall cause of cancer death worldwide. The identification of robust molecular prognostic biomarkers can refine the conventional tumor-node-metastasis staging system, avoid understaging of tumor, and help pinpoint patients with early-stage CRC who may benefit from aggressive treatments...
